Fulham 1 Arsenal 5

Happy away day

Pure Arsenal class in the new era with Head Coach Unai Emery.

Normal service has been resumed as Arsenal now sit above the Homeless Wanderers in 4th place in the Premier League.

Let’s get the obvious fact out of the way first: Fulham were not very good. Their goal was an opportunistic chance that was well taken but over all, they didn’t really pose any problems for Arsenal.

The Gunners on the other hand are starting to look like they are getting to grips with Unai Emery’s tactics. Keeping the ball from your opponent is very difficult to do, and it’s nerve wracking watching your team passing the ball backwards towards your own goalkeeper a lot. Bigger faster teams are going to put immense pressure on this style of play in the future, luckily for us, Fulham didn’t have the ability or the desire in this game so we got away with it.

Our goals were great, seriously great. Alexandre scored two, Pierre scored two and Aaron is currently nominated for goal of the weekend as his amazing finish has everyone wondering why he doesn’t do it every week?

Next up is a rest and a chance to recharge until our next home game against Leicester City on Monday 22 October.

We can’t stop smiling. A great win for Arsenal and we’re back above the Sc*m in the league. It’s a good time to be a Gooner.
