Arsenal’s matchday programmes have evolved significantly over the decades, offering unique glimpses into the club’s history and culture. Early programmes were often simple sheets, providing basic team line-ups. As printing technology advanced, they became more elaborate, featuring articles, player profiles, historical information, and advertisements.

Some unique Arsenal programmes stand out. During wartime, when Highbury was used for air raid precautions, single-sheet programmes were produced for home games played at Tottenham’s White Hart Lane.

Special commemorative editions for significant anniversaries, cup finals, or the final games at Highbury are also highly sought after by collectors.

Programmes featuring unusual cover designs or celebrating specific player achievements add to their distinctiveness. These printed keepsakes offer a tangible connection to memorable moments in Arsenal’s rich history.
